KNL awarded ISO 9001 and AQAP 2110 certifications

We’re proud to announce that KNL’s Quality Management System has been ISO 9001 and AQAP 2110 certified. ISO 9001 certification is the most universally accepted quality standard. AQAP 2110 is a quality management system developed by NATO, which is based on the ISO 9001 standard, but sets additional requirements for it. These additional requirements ensure the uninterrupted operation of defence equipment and systems and minimise risks.

With the ISO 9001 and AQAP 2110 certification, KNL is committed to ensure that we consistently meet our customers’ requirements and expectations. “KNL’s customers can continue to rely on our high-quality products and services. We always aim to continuous improvement of quality to serve our customers in the best possible way” KNL´s Quality Manager Petri Riihimäki sums. Achieving these two certifications at the same time proves that we can manage our operating efficiency and decision making.

Achieving ISO 9001 and AQAP 2110 certifications requires numerous processes of internal and external audits, standardised procedures, and a commitment to quality at every level of the organisation. We’re happy to welcome ISO 9001 and AQAP 2110 certifications to our organisation to compliment our existing ISO 27001 information security standard.
