At FSi, we will showcase CNHF Manpack, which enables mobile and dismounted users to maintain reliable mission-critical communications in demanding environments. Manpack supports encrypted digital voice, data, instant messaging, voice messaging and blue force tracking. The Manpack capability can also be extended to mounted operations with CNHF Vehicular, which is built around the CNHF Manpack core to provide consistent operation across different deployments.
KNL will also present the one-of-its-kind CNHF Evolve that introduces a digital future for existing radios – by adding modern digital capabilities such as secure data, automatic link establishment, IP integration, messaging and software updates, without replacing the underlying RF hardware.

KNL’s CNHF solutions are already trusted by the Finnish Defence Forces and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, which have placed announced CNHF orders worth approximately EUR 23.5 million, including a joint procurement under the NORDEFCO framework. The shared CNHF capability provides a foundation for interoperable long-range communications between Finnish and Swedish forces, with the potential to include other Nordic countries.
